Hey thats awesome! Thanks for the info on the links, should probably update those now haha. Honestly I ended up doing the same with the labels and its worked out better than on the cart. Even though I said in the video I didn't care, cleaning that gunk is a PITA and I do care lol. Labels on the end of the case is the way to go!

Unfortunately I don't think there is one that exists other than Hori's official one. With these things not having a battery in them it would be very difficult to find someone making a wireless adapter to have them connect. Honestly if you like them so much, check out the BinBok JoyCon. They are big like the Hori SPP but are battery powered and can be used wirelessly.

Hmm, not sure what has changed but there was no setting it up. At least when I filmed this all I did was what I mentioned at 4:00 and it was good to go. Recognized on the Switch as a USB controller and worked right out of the box. Maybe they've altered something on the Switch's software over the years but they would be a crappy thing to have done.

Having to buy the entire thing is overkill. Absolutely agree. I love my Split Pads but for me personally this is 100% unnecessary at the price point of a fully featured wireless controller.

Maybe with a USB to USBC adapter? But since the Lite has no USB A connector it won't work out of the box without the adapter. Even then I don't know if it would actually work.

I believe 3 may work? IIRC that's how many USB ports are on the dock and that's that you would need to use

Wireless? Nowhere. HORI doesn’t have anything that supports using the Split Pads wirelessly. The adapter is wired only. The other controllers are BinBok

Ahh gotcha. Sorry was thrown with the “to use with HORI Split Pad” since they can’t be used with the actual HORI ones. But yeah, I’ve got an older video on the BinBok and still use them to this day. Excellent alternative.

What settings do you need explained exactly? Using it as a controller is pretty straight forward but I’m happy to help if you require more.

I would 100% recommend the BinBoks when they’re back. Until HORI puts out a wireless adapter for these (which they could if they wanted) having the Split Pads wired is silly when you could just get a cheaper Power A controller or PDP controller and achieve the same wired effect. Such a weird choice.

I would think so - it plugs in via USB and the Switch has multiple USB inputs.

I would say no since the wheel has to plug in with USB to the Switch dock, which the Lite doesn’t have. Maybe if you had a USB to USBC adapter it would work? Not sure though.

If you mean the devices made for regular JoyCon then no - they are much too big. They also lack a battery or any sort of wireless connection so they HAVE to be directly connected to the switch in handheld or wired up with this adapter. If they had put a battery in this and made it wireless it would have worked, but they didn’t. Its either use these tethered to USB with the adapter or in handheld mode.

Hmm, I’ve not heard of this issue before - it may work to unplug it then plug everything back in. Might be an issue with the controller just having a little issue. I’ve not used mine in so long at this point
